haven't used it yet, still waiting on thermostat replacement.
This oven is compact and does a great job cooking pizzas, chicken vegetables and more. I saw a negative review from someone who needs to learn how to build the fire and preheat the oven. The CBO-500 heats up quickly because it's compact. It also uses less wood to maintain high temp, unlike larger ovens. I love mine. Friends go crazy over how good the food turns out. Their customer service is also wonderful. I'd spoken with a Bob there who was so helpful and nice. These guys are my favorite pizza oven right now.
Ryan has been great, answering all my questions throughout the process! Everything about my pizza oven has been amazing, from the selection to the first slice!!! Highly recommend Pro Pizza Oven for your Pizza Oven!!
I did my research and wanted to spend approximately $1,000. There were plenty of ovens $2,500 + but this one was right around my budget. Ryan handled my order with “white glove service” and reinforced I made the right decision.
We love it! We finally made pizzas last night! They turned out great! Now we need to buy a cover for it one of these days.
Makes good pizza if all the parameters are perfect. The stone has to be hot,750f!! The flame has to be roaring. The dough has to be just right. Kinda tedious. Build quality is good. I wish they included a pizza pan or something to carry the pizza to the oven. Overall would buy again.
Word of advice, only wood pellets, charcoal doesn't stay hot enough for long enough
Great company to work with. They did price match their oven when I found it on sale on line. The oven works extremely well. Takes about 30 minutes to heat up to 750 degrees. Way faster than more expensive models.
Pizza oven exceeds our expectations!! And the delivery person did too actually helping me to get it into the back yard to surprise my husband! Pizza cook fast with that perfect char you can only get in a wood fired oven.
The oven is excellent build quality, and works as promised. Moving it was a major pain and expense, but its worth it!!
Just in the last day of the curing process and cooked up some veggies.... So far, the getting to know you phase of this pizza oven had been great.
Dealing with Ryan at Pro Pizza, nothing but good things to say about him, customer service and ease of ordering, delivery and information on building the base.
One easy to fix minor flaw in a door "hook"... Again, Ryan and Pro pizza supportive.
I'll update this after I start making pizzas... But love the look, as it's a great addition to my patio and favorite place of my home!
We've started to build a pizza oven multiple times over the years and never finish it. I finally gave in and purchased the Brazza oven from Ryan and Pro Pizza Ovens and I couldn't be happier. We are cooking several nights a week in the oven and enjoying every minute of it- we wish we would have just purchased one sooner. Thanks Ryan for your awesome customer support and helping make our summer the best ever.
Very happy with the personal service, my chimney and cap did not come with my order. After a phone call they sent one out right away.excellent-service
Hey folks...haven’t had enough experience with it yet. It seems difficult to get a consistent temp throughout the oven interior so difficult to get the pizza crust to crisp up all around without rotating it often ...still playing with crusts to see what works best...mechanically it works fine so far. Ryan has been helpful and provided excellent customer service. Much appreciated! 👍🏼
I am still waiting for my chimney pipe extension and cap. the oven arrived without the chimney pipe extension and cap.
Form and Function merge in the Uuni 3. Great design from the chimney cap that doubles as a wood pellet scoop to the fuel cell cap that doubles as a handle to pull out the fuel door. Well constructed. The pizza's have a true wood oven flavor and crispness. We had a pizza party with ten people and all of them raved not only about how good the pizza tasted but that with a 60 second cook time it permitted everyone to individualize their pizza and we could all eat together. That led to everyone sampling everyone else's pizza. Clean up is easy and while it takes a few tries to master inserting and turning the pizza, the results are well worth the effort. We have also roasted vegetables and will try fish next. Our grill is toast now as the Uuni 3 reigns supreme.
Unbelievably happy with our new pizza oven. Amazing Pizza's, and bread. Experimenting with other recipes as well. Thanks again
Got this delivered yesterday and got it in place in the afternoon and did my first curing fire last night. I am fairly impressed so far - just a small fire last night, following the curing schedule/process and this morning, a good 8 or so hours after the fire was out, the oven is still warm. No cracks..... ....yet :-) .
It comes complete - ready to go (after the curing for any residual moisture), so you have to be ready to move it. It is HEAVY, cumbersome, and needs equipment made for the job. A forklift (you can rent one probably for 60 - 80 bucks, or an engine hoist if you have a smooth surface. Make sure your yard is accessible (the oven is indeed 39 inches wide, and on a pallet that is probably 44 - 48 inches - will it fit thru your gate?). If you get a fork lift, is your ground hard (I mean HARD = ask me why I think that is really important.
Great oven. I expect to have the curing done on Saturday night/Sunday morning. Pizza, my place, this weekend - you bring the beer!!
EDIT/ADDED: used the oven a few times now - very VERY pleased with the performance. A real quality "old world" job here.... Perfect pizza everytime, the real deal. Both times, a full 24 hours AFTER the last piece of wood was added, the oven was still maintaining a 200 - 250 degree temp. That was in an ambient air temp (overnight) in the 40's - so I would say the oven is VERY WELL insulated.
