Authentic Pizza Ovens is one of the top brick pizza oven brands in the industry - and for good reason. In a market that was once largely dominated by the Italian pizza oven, the old-world brick ovens made in Portugal offer a breath of fresh air in a once stuffy collection. Widely known for their traditional Pizzaioli and Lisboa brick ovens, you can easily cook amazing wood-fired pizza in any of their wide range of models.
Compare their ovens to any other outdoor pizza oven on the market, and it's not hard to see why an Authentic Brick Pizza Ovens traditional oven is a perfect choice. Here are 3 reasons why:
Hand made the old fashioned way ensures each brick was placed with precision and care
Large oven floors give you more cooking space to cook multiple pizzas at once
Reasonable prices make these Authentic Brick Pizza Ovens affordable for everyone
Each oven is crafted in a town in northern Portugal by a family that's been building these ovens for decades. You can feel confident knowing that your pizza oven will last for generations to come!
Mostly known for their popular line of countertop and built-in pizza ovens, these Authentic Brick Pizza Ovens also offer the more transportable Maximus oven series which quickly became a best seller. Along with that, the Maximus series offers one of the largest cooking surfaces on the market, and it's hard to pass up at such an affordable price.
Choose the Option Best Suited For You
There are 4 distinct styles of Authentic Brick Pizza Ovens which can be built-in or set on countertop: Pizzaioli and Buena Ventura (both made for pizzas), and the Lisboa and Ventura (both made for all-purpose cooking).
Each oven comes in a Standard and Premium version. But what's the difference?
The Standardversion is the first model Authentic Pizza Ovens came out with. Think of it as version 1. This version has a door and chimney that's made of mixed metal. These mixed metal components are not rust-proof and require upkeep to keep them from rusting out. To remedy this concern for customers that don't want to have to constantly condition their ovens, Authentic Pizza Ovens created the Premium brick oven models. This is version 2.
The Premium models have a cast aluminum door and stainless steel chimney. These upgraded components require no upkeep over the life of the oven. We like to think of the cost difference in the Standard vs Premium models as buying a lifetime insurance policy on your brick oven's components. A great, peace of mind addition for a small price difference!
The Pizzaioli series is by far their most popular and includes one of the best sellers on the market - the Pizzaioli Premium. These traditional brick ovens rival any of the top brands in the market in features and quality but still come at a reasonable cost. Each Pizzaoli comes with the expert Portuguese build quality, a large cooking surface (cook two 10-12" pizzas at once), and can cook up to an 18" pizza. Minimal assembly is required at delivery.
The Buena Ventura series follows the exact same build quality and dimensions as the Pizzaioli, but marks its difference in the exterior, and aesthetic design. These traditional brick ovens rival any of the top brands in the market in features and quality but still come at a reasonable cost.
Each Buena Ventura comes with the expert Portuguese build quality, a large cooking surface (cook two 10-12" pizzas at once), and can cook up to an 18" pizza. Minimal assembly is required at delivery.
The Lisboa series of outdoor brick pizza ovens are designed to be all-purpose, without sacrificing the ability to cook up to two 10-12" pizzas. Similar to the Pizzaioli and Buena Ventura, these pizza ovens come with the unmatched Portuguese build quality, large cooking surface but are uniquely rotisserie capable. They also have a double door that opens in two sections for added flexibility. As well as a taller dome and door for accommodating larger meals and cookware.
The trade-off, when compared to the Pizzaioli and Buena Ventura, is that these ovens' mouths aren't as wide. The largest pizza that can safely be cooked is 14" in the Lisboa, whereas the Pizzaioli and Buena Ventura can accommodate up to an 18" pie. But due to the Lisboa having a taller door, it can easily cook larger meal options like turkeys and tall rising bread in-which the Pizzaioli and Buena Ventura cannot. Minimal assembly is required at delivery.
The Ventura series of ovens are true, all-purpose brick pizza ovens. Built-in the same manner as the Lisboa and boasting the same dimensions, the Ventura brings a unique exterior design to meet even the most thoughtful projects. With the ability to cook up to two 10-12" pizzas, the Ventura line of ovens come with unmatched Portuguese build quality, and a large cooking surface area, but boast a rotisserie capabledesign. They also have a double door that opens in two sections for added flexibility.

There are 2 different models of Authentic Pizza Ovens Portable Wood Fired Pizza Ovens: Maximus Prime (largest cooking surface), and the Maximus Arena (smaller cooking surface).
Each oven looks identical, comes in either red or black, and both are hand-built in the same fashion, so what's the difference?
The Maximus Prime is the larger of the two ovens with a cooking surface area of 35.4" wide x 35.4" deep. This is large enough to comfortably cook up to three 10" pizzas at once. Not to mention, for its size, it heats up lightning fast with an average cold start to cooking temperature in 30 minutes! Plus, it comes 95% assembled at delivery.
The Maximus Arena is the smaller of the two ovens with a cooking surface area of 23.5" wide x 23.5" deep. This is enough space to easily cook up to two 10" pizzas and is a great size for a small family. This oven heats up even faster than its bigger brother at 25 minutes! Plus, it comes 95% assembled at delivery as well.
Having your Authentic Pizza Oven delivered without the tools needed to get the most out of your oven is a recipe for regret. It's like ordering a belt but forgetting your pants! Without these must-have tools, you're stuck looking at your oven in the backyard and unable to fire it up.
