    Countertop Pizza Oven FAQ

No, you can't put a countertop oven on quartz countertop.

You should have something like a sheet of stainless steel between the bottom of the oven and the quartz countertop to protect it from the extreme heat of the cooking chamber.

If you haven't installed your countertop yet, granite would be a better choice. You won't need to place anything on the surface below the oven to protect if from the oven's heating elements.

Anything you cook in your regular oven, gas grill, flat top or even toaster oven, you can cook in a countertop pizza oven. Your cooking options are almost limitless.

Whether it's steaks, vegetables, deep-dish pizza, fish, casseroles, desserts, or authentic pizza with crispy crust, all will come out great with a beautiful hint of smoky flavor.

However, one thing to be aware of is the learning curve in maintaining proper heat control for the cooking process and shorter cooking time. This will take practice to master but it's a lot of fun. Once you have it figured out, cooking all your meals in a dedicated pizza oven will be the only way.

So feel free to get rid of that baking stone ;-).

Countertop pizza ovens can get to extreme temperatures in excess of 1,000°F depending on the fuel type (gas pizza oven vs wood-fired oven vs electric oven).

However, if you're planning to cook restaurant-quality pizza then it only needs to get up to 800-850°F, which is the ideal temperature range for Neapolitan-style pizza.
